The GIRI Bootcamp: 12 weeks from proof to standard

Not a course but a roadmap to work through: the goal is your first proof in week 1 and GIRI as your standard after 12 weeks. The 4 phases at a glance.

Updated · GIRI 12.80.1

By the end of week 1 you are holding the proof: someone who has never done the task scans your QR code and completes it. Without a word from you. The bootcamp is meant for the person who introduces GIRI in your company.

How it works

  1. Phase 1 · Week 1Prove It5 lessons. On Friday you have the proof.
  2. Phase 2 · Weeks 2–6Pilot Smart3 modules. One workstation with 8–15 instructions, KPIs measured.
  3. Phase 3 · Weeks 7–9Scale It2 modules. 30–60 instructions, with a system instead of chaos.
  4. Phase 4 · Weeks 10–12Sustain It2 modules. Show the value, GIRI becomes the standard.
The GIRI Bootcamp: 4 phases in 12 weeks

In phase 1 you do one lesson a day, 30–45 minutes each. From phase 2 on, every module is a workshop of about 90 minutes, and you work through the homework before the next one. Every lesson and module gives you a time box, concrete steps, the typical mistakes and a drill question.

Before you start, take 15 minutes for the trial questionnaire. It saves you hours in week 1.

See it in GIRI

When you sign up, GIRI creates two example instructions in your empty workspace. The same happens when an admin opens a new, empty workspace for the first time. Both are drafts. You find them under Instructions and look at them in the Preview:

  • “How to create your first instruction” walks you through recording, editing, approving and the QR code at the workplace, with real screenshots.
  • “Example: Set up the clamping fixture” shows the format you build yourself in phase 1: short steps in chapters, markings in the picture, a warning.

The examples are in German if the app was set to German when they were created, otherwise in English. If the workspace has ever had an instruction, GIRI creates no examples. In that case, How to GIRI: the basics by example gives you a finished instruction to click through.

Live sessions with the GIRI team

All sessions run as video calls:

  • Basic Intro (60 min): set-up and your first instruction, together.
  • Proof Week (4 × 30 min, Tue–Fri): four live sessions through your entire phase 1.
  • Check-in (30 min): for every workshop in phases 2–4.

What they cover and how to book them is all on one page.
