Phase 3 · Module 2 · Scaling with leverage
Early week 9: QR codes on site, several languages, training and records, content where the work happens.
Four levers take a finished instruction to more people without you recording it again. In this module you decide where to use them and who looks after them.
4levers per instruction
3–5top instructions in several languages
3–5posters to start with
The workshop: 90 minutes, 5 steps
- QR code governance (25 min). Put the code directly on the machine or control panel, not 5 metres away on a wall. Who attaches it, who maintains the location list, what happens when equipment is replaced? In GIRI, an instruction’s QR code stays the same with new versions: putting it up once is enough.
- Go multilingual (15 min). Bring your top instructions into your team’s languages. GIRI translates with DeepL as soon as someone picks a language. A native speaker in the plant checks the translation in the Preview before the approval (Instructions in other languages).
- Training and records (25 min). Which instructions are mandatory briefings, and who needs to know them by when? Decide where you need a record. Without activation, a checklist with a signature does the job (Set up a checklist and signature). If GIRI has activated training for your workspace, the workspace admin sets up a training requirement with a validity period, and the matrix shows who is trained (Training in GIRI).
- Bring content to where the work happens (15 min). QR codes right on the machine, posters in context, PDFs for audits, links in your intranet or in Teams, SCORM packages for your LMS.
- Finally: who does what by week 10? (10 min). One task per item, with a name and a date. Otherwise it stays a nice workshop.

Homework weeks 9–10 (~6 hrs)
- QR list: all existing codes plus a plan for new ones.
- Have native speakers check 3–5 top instructions in your team’s languages.
- Set up the record for 1–2 mandatory briefings: a checklist with a signature or a training requirement.
- Print and put up the first 3–5 posters.
- For phase 4: start the ROI calculation.
