Example
How to GIRI: the basics by example
The quickest way in: a finished GIRI 11 instruction to click through, plus the example instruction GIRI creates in a new workspace.
See how a real instruction is built, step by step and exactly the way your colleagues will see it later. The example comes from GIRI 11.
How to get the most out of it
- Open the instruction on your phone. That is how it feels at the workstation.
- Notice the format: one step, one clip. Arrows guide the eye.
- Afterwards, create your own first instruction. See Your first instruction in 10 minutes.
The example in your workspace
When the workspace admin opens a new workspace for the first time, GIRI creates the example instruction “How to create your first instruction” as a draft, marked EXAMPLE. It shows the way through GIRI 12 with screenshots: create, record, add text, submit, approve and get the QR code to the workstation. It comes from an older version, so some buttons have different names today.
You find it under Instructions. On a phone, the start page shows it as What a finished instruction looks like as long as you have no instruction of your own. If your workspace already had instructions before, GIRI creates no example. In that case, Your first instruction in 10 minutes takes you through the same steps.
